Row 6 is my favorite row if I am not in F. Love row 6. It is just a curtain in front of you, no hard bulkhead and lots more legroom. The curtain only goes down as far as the top of the seat in front and there is storage under that seat as well.
Mine too -- I've even sat in 6B when only middles in Premium were available.

1) It seems like 6A or 6F are the narrowest seats.
2) If I was planning on booking 3 seats for my family in row 6, for example 6A, 6B and 6C, there are only two seats in front of row 6, so one of my three family members wouldn't have a seat in front of them to stow their carry on.
There are two F seats in front of row 6, so the width is about the same. In the worst case you can put something in the overhead bin.
