Flying CDG-SYD on CX, so will most likely position from LHR the night before to ensure some buffer (CDG-HKG departs and 1215). Can I check bags through despite what will likely be 24hrs before the next leg?
You would need to have BA + CX sectors on the same ticket and confirm that CDG allows overnight luggage (some airports don't allow that). BA won't check your luggage through on separate tickets.
