there are no min flight segments needed for status AT ALL. However if you want to be able to have any "loyalty choice awards", you have to have 30 segments.
But you are full fledged EXP or PPRO status
just based on spending alone. The loyalty choice awards give the systemwide upgrades or bonus miles or club membership etc.
same # of segments for EXP as PPRO, and just for the extra goodies. No segments needed otherwise.
