Oh nooo, I always counted on seeing Mort at OzFests. I can't remember if we ever crossed paths elsewhere.

Two and a half sentences into his obituary, I thought - It's such a shame we learn the fascinating details of someone's history once they're gone. Then, I continued to read and see we lived a few miles from each other when I was 7+ years old! Wow, Mort, I wish I'd known of your life's achievements, but it's kinda hard to do that in an activity packed weekend every few years. (I think I've only been to three OzFests.)
