I have to book a flight from New York to Paris later this month. I was going to book Premium Economy on AF but I've been told that the seat is not the most comfortable. I am now considering flying via Amsterdam and trying out this new Premium Comfort cabin.

For those who have flown on the fixed shell AF Premium Economy, would it be worth it to add a 2 hour layover in Amsterdam & fly on this cabin instead?
