When you go to Manage Booking on the QR website, or in the QR mobile app, if case upgrades are available then they would appear there. They usually become available some 2 weeks before the flight. The price goes up significantly the day of departure (and I think the day before as well), so if a cash UG is your plan, it's cheaper to do it ahead of time (if available).

If it's an award booking, you can't do cash upgrades.
thank you! Yes its a revenue booking, I will keep an eye on manage booking, is it obvious when I login or do I need to look for it?
