Needed to a burn a free night somewhere near Saratoga. The redemption is actually only 8k points at the moment, but it was unlikely I'd be able to use the night anywhere else. I'm getting a bit spoiled with the top-up feature available with IHG & Marriott now.
Since it was such a quick stay we didn't actually use any of the amenities, but they seemed decent. Pool seemed nice and free breakfast is until 930a on weekdays, 10a on weekends. There is a free Lyft service for mornings and evenings within a 5-mile radius, but it only works for weekdays, probably for the Apple workers. Parking was easy.
Since it's such a new property, everything was in tip-top condition. The room was really well designed and we had no issues. I was not upgraded from the standard room (only a lowly Explorist). You do hear noise from the hallway pretty clearly, but we didn't really have issues with that during our stay. Faced the 280 but the noise cancelling was good and the view of the tall trees were really lovely. Also facing North helped a lot this weekend because there was a heat wave this past week, so the lack of direct sunlight actually helped.
As someone else already mentioned, there's no dedicated desk for working, there is an ergonomic chair that's set in front of the kitchen counter. Lots of plugs and usb-a ports available. Given how recent the property was built, you'd think they'd install some usb-c ports though.
