After a 3 day wait from my email the OTA customer service dept rang me but they tell me that Finnair has exchanged the ticket without the HKG-PER segment and they have taken control of the ticket. OTA says they can't access it to make/request any changes and that I will need to contact Finnair. Stay tuned.
My guess is AY will not understand/believe/confirm this, will continue to tell you to work with the OTA, and will refuse to do anything.
My tip: never buy tickets from OTAs.
