WMATA has stepped up its marketing of the Silver Line extension, both online and IRL. I picked up this flyer about the new stations at a fair a couple of weekends ago that offers some details not mentioned on Metro's page about the IAD station:

Three things to note about this:
  • That "1/8th mile radius walking distance" circle drawn around the IAD station has to be a typo, because every other station map in this flyer is drawn with a 1/4 mile circle and any dummy can check the distance for themselves in Google Maps. But seeing the moving-walkways connection under the parking lot end well short of that line underscores that this is not, objectively speaking, very far, and I'm not just saying that because I connected through FRA yesterday...
  • The Fairfax Connector 983 bus will continue to connect the airport to the Air & Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center.
  • I don't know what that "Metrobus Shuttle" by the A icon between the station and the parking garage is about, but I'll see if I can dig up the flyer at home later on.
