....cabin luggage is more complex. But as I say so long as you don't overdo it, Aer Lingus are reasonably relaxed about this, particularly on Airbus services.
I have never had cabin bags measured or weighed on any Aer Lingus, mainline Airbus or Regional ATR service and am certain that I have been both oversize and overweight many times.
