SIN and HKG are excellent airports and a remedy in this. OneWorld airlines' efforts to make life difficult for their customers are hampered by these excellent airports that just simply tracks and re-tags bags within their system.
Out of curiosity, how does this work in real life? Does one need to go to a transfer desk to organise it there, or does the airport have some super smart algorithm, that connects the dots, that there is an incoming pax, who then leaves with the next flight, so do not put his luggage to the conveyor belt?
