An hour ago I booked a long flight from eastern europe to the USA on Lufthansa. Couldn't find it on United.com

Last time I did this was maybe ten years ago. Cant remember the details but at the time my united status was honored on Lufthansa and I got some free upgrades and was treated well. This time I couldn't even enter my united details and was notified to contact the Lufthansa contact center to add them.

Any tips? Did I book this the wrong way? I paid for it with my united card if that matters...
