I stayed at this hotel twice in June. First stay was upgraded to a Junior Suite and the experience was the same as Goldorak’s. Room felt very 1970s and couldn’t believe this hotel was apparently built in 1991!
Second stay was better in a lesser room which seemingly had seen some modernisation since 1991, however the whole hotel needs a comprehensive refurb to bring it up to modern standards. It should perhaps be branded as a Mercure in its current state.
That said, its clean, rates seem low for a Pullman and its convenient to access the airport via Metro. Beats dragging luggage up the hill from Barajas to the ibis!
I didn’t take breakfast on either occasion, opting to eat in the airport instead.
