Obviously this entire situation with status extensions has confused a lot of people, myself included . . . .
I went from Silver to Gold with a BA itinerary that ended on April 27th. My TP year ended August 8, 2022. My assumption has been that I was not entitled to any further status extensions, however I do have flights totaling 1200+ TPs already booked, which will complete before the end of December. So I was anticipating qualifying for Gold for my current TP year, since I'll have accrued over the reduced requirement before the end of this year.
If I read the above correctly, however, I'll be extended through the 23/24 collection year even if I accrue zero TPs going forward.
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance.
