as far as early Boeing jets in commercial passenger service, to the best of my recollection in the U.S. the last 707 flights were in 1983 and the last 727 flights were in 2003 … I’d certainly guess there were a handful of African and/or South American operators of each type for a few years thereafter
I last flew aboard a Boeing 707 in 1984. At the time, I strongly and correctly suspected that it would be the last time so I inhaled really deeply when leaving. Last breath of 707 air, I thought.

I had the same feeling for the MD-90 in 2015. It was the last time. I suspected but wasn't completely certain when on my last 747SP and 737-200QC (Combi) flights.

I didn't realize it for the 747-200 Combi, DC-10, MD-11, L-1011 Tristar, Fokker 28, Fokker 70, Fokker 100, 727, BAe 146, A300, A310, and One Eleven.

I fear that I may have made my last 747 flight. I really want to fly aboard the 747-8i and A380, which I've never done.
