*Edit: For the record, I had one SWU expire on 31 July. First SWU in the history of my time with AA that I've let expire unused. But I didn't have a trip for it, and I earned that SWU in 2019. So I don't really feel like AA owes me anything there.
lol
I get multiple mass-emails from AA every week, and a big red alert pops up on the Offers section at AA.com when offers much less valuable than SWUs are about to expire.** If AA had wanted to remind people, it would have been a five-minute job.
Regardless, I'm not arguing that AA
owed anybody a reminder/warning. I'm simply pointing out that, contrary to the other person's implication, no such reminders/warnings were given.
(** Interestingly, no such alert pops up on the SWU section when SWUs are about to expire. Gee, I wonder why.)
