I get multiple mass-emails from AA every week, and a big red alert pops up on the Offers section at AA.com when offers much less valuable than SWUs are about to expire.** If AA had wanted to remind people, it would have been a five-minute job.

Regardless, I'm not arguing that AA owed anybody a reminder/warning. I'm simply pointing out that, contrary to the other person's implication, no such reminders/warnings were given.

(** Interestingly, no such alert pops up on the SWU section when SWUs are about to expire. Gee, I wonder why.)
