Yes Spain continues to observe the requirement to wear a mask on all public transport. Therefore everyone should continue to observe the following rules regardless of your whereabouts when traveling to/from or within Spain:
  • obligatory use of face masks on public transport, in pharmacies, medical centres and care homes (see Use of facemasks)
Public transport would include air travel.
Whether you agree with it or not is pretty much irrelevant. Rules are rules. If you don't like them or don't agree then don't go to Spain. It really is that simple.

Just because Wizzair or whoever doesn't observe or respect the rules that are in place governing mask wearing when BA does doesn't make them maverick or refreshing, to me it just makes me think how many other disregards are they making to rules and regulations during my journey.

I appreciate masks aren't the most comfortable thing to wear but for the sake of a couple of hours, I still fail to understand why so many people continue to push the issue.
