Mask rules seem to be bonkers flying to Spain, with different rules observed by different airlines and to different destinations. Today to Malaga on BA we were told we had to wear masks on the flight and when leaving the aircraft because of rules in Spain. However once in the airport hardly anyone was wearing them. On BA it seems to be mandatory, but on Ryanair there was no mention....nor seemingly on Wizzair. Madness!!
Spain still have mask rules here and there. I had the same onboard to Spain. The airport didn’t seem to have much enforcement, at all. Public transport, buses, trains etc require masks. It is what it is and I think what may seem like random rules at the time in certain locations be it UK, Spain, trains, hospitals wherever, are likely to be around for a few years or so.
