No car for rental but Hertz charged my card anyway.
My son reserved a Hertz rental car in June of this year. When he went to pick it up Hertz had no cars. After an hour of searching he was able to find a car at Alarmo (more expensive since it was a last minute rental, but at least he had a car). When I received my Amex bill there was a charge from Hertz for $72.99. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with Hertz. First they couldn't find the charge, now they can see it but they won't talk to me because my son was the "renter." He called but they won't talk to him because the charge is on my card. Apparently there are no customer service people at Hertz anymore.
