Gogo offers Air-to-Ground (ATG) Internet, basically using the equivalent of cell phone towers pointing up at the sky. IntelSat and Viasat provide Internet using geosynchronous (GEO) satellites. IntelSat acquired Gogo a while back, allowing them to offer both ATG and GEO.
