things seem to have quieted down. But due to the length of the trip , I can’t go hand carry only.
All the press made a big thing out the so-called 'chaos' and have all stopped covering it as all that 'chaos' has long gone. What are you expecting out of interest?
I've flown into and out of LHR 4 times over summer and not had a single issue at all. To be fair, I've only flown once with hold baggage, which took nearly an hour to arrive, but an hour isn't a disaster. I mostly bring cabin baggage though.
Remember also, on Sunday most kids are back at school Monday, so hardly any families will be flying back Sunday. Most will be back already or sometime this week. So LHR will start to be a lot quieter from this weekend.
