Putting in a SIN-DMU roundtrip search for December dates on the Indigo website shows up connections 6E42>6E6339 and 6E7288>6E41 with a 4-hour layover in both directions. Are you missing something?

Edit: this shows up on the Google flights website as well although with different flight numbers for the domestic segments. A single ticket seems possible and you should book it instead of separate tickets for better protection.
