Responses like this is why I ditched my Platinum status after 8 years of 100+ nights. Bonvoy is a dreadful, guest-hostile program these days. The property clearly missed the mark here, and it would be trivial for Marriott to work with the guest to make things right, but instead it attempts to skirt any form accountability.
