But then I read in an online review of the 787-9 seats that there was a Chat facility on the entertainment system, whereby you could chat to another seat. That would be good, but I've not read about it anywhere else and a Twitter message to American elicited the reply that they didn't know; ask our 'wonderful crew'. I could understand if this facility had been disabled as I see it being open to abuse.
But has anyone heard or seen anything about this 'Seat to Seat Chat' facility, please?
My partner and I use it on the 777-300ER when seated next to each other in PE because, well, what else is there to do on an 11 hour flight? True the interface is awful, but it works.
