Since gluten free is nowadays a stamp meaning "better".
I recently bought (by mistake) an expensive dishwasher detergent and the second prominent featurel listed in the packaging was "gluten free". What?
It's not that it's supposed to sound superior, it's because people that are gluten intolerant need to know this information (apparently on more products than you realized). Many dishwashing agents/detergents contain ingredients that are (deliberately) designed to leave a residue for rinse aide, to reduce spotting, or disinfection (commercial). That sounds insignificant to those of us without a gluten sensitivity, button mens people that's important info.
