I applied for my eVisa yesterday. Interestingly it was about the same set of questions as the visa application aside from not asking about how many times you've been in Japan in the past. I uploaded my passport, a recent photo of myself, and the EFRS certificate along with my hotel info and flight info for arrive in late october. Now it's in pending status, so I suppose I'll find out next week if I'm approved or not. Even when selecting tourism, nowhere does it ask about my itinerary, so it just relies on the guarantor (JGA) to deal with all of that.

I don't know what kinds of questions I will get on my inbound though as I pass through immigration.
