If your Elite Plus number is in the booking and you have more than 72 hours for the booking, it should clear automatically.

Also, you must be alone in the PNR, this guarantee wouldn't work for companions unless they are Elite Plus.
Yes, I'm alone on the booking, my Elite Plus number is on it, and the flight is not until next week. I guess I'll file a feedback form.
