When the Movenpick on Soi 15 first opened, I stayed there often during my trips to Bangkok. I thought it was a great value and the breakfast was solid and the rooftop pool was a great place for afternoon dips. However, the last time I was there (maybe 2017?) I found the morning lineup for breakfast to be appalling. The line was out the door and nearly to the hotel reception! The reason? The hotel was starting to be booked by Chinese tour bus companies. That was the last time I stayed there. :-/
