Its not quite an Aman, but we absolutely loved the boutique Lombok Lodge on Lombok. 12 rooms with a lovely beachy minimalist design. Lots of luxe touches like high quality linens, hermes bath products, outdoor shower, no shortage of in-room amenities. Food was truly fantastic including incredible breakfast pastries from a european-trained chef and the ability to eat wherever you'd like on the property. They recently built a private beach club across the strait in the Gilli Islands as well. When we were there the hotel would provide complimentary boat service over to the Gilli's (5 min ride) every day at a time of your choosing.
Service always personal, prompt, and very kind. This place is terrific value for money IMO.
