Do I have any recourse with the Hotel or Marriott for the $100 compensation that it states in the list of Platinum Guarantees that I should receive. I mentioned it to the hotel and the reply from the manager was "we will do better next time". Not what I expected since there are literally hundreds of other options within a 2 block radius. This property is now on the list of those that are exempted from providing breakfast when the lounge is closed.
Note as well that, when the Guaranty applies, you're supposed to request the $100 while on property. JW Mall of America gave it to me when I complained post check-in-out, but technically they're not obligated to.
