The same is true for any other partner bookings that don't involve AA. I've done several trips all on BA (AUS-LHR-DEL), CX (ORD-HKG-CMB), etc., and none showed up on the AA app.
And I’m perfectly fine with that since I don’t need the AA app cluttered with other itineraries where I’m exclusively flying OAL, even if it happens to be a partner where I plan to credit to AA.

I also don’t need, or even want, AA knowing about upcoming reservations I have with OAL before I’ve flown them.

Especially the ones that I may have booked as backups or has conflicts with existing AA itineraries.
