There is a long list of medications which are banned in Japan, and cannot be imported even for personal use with a foreign RX, including pseudoephedrine (found in many cold medicines), and any form of opiate-based pain killer, but Aleve should be fine. Better to answer yes, and if questioned, just show the bottle.
