Thanks for all your replies.

I would normally also pick EK but on this occasion the price was much cheaper (I would say 50% off) and I am travelling without Mrs D so Y and longer travel time is fine.

I am only wondering if Eco Plus is worth the money when flying KLM (never did), price is about EUR 50 for the flight to DXB (the bulkhead doesn't seem to have windows in A330 which I don't like) and EUR 90 for the flight back to AMS (Y bulk head).
