we fly from HNL - Nrt- Cgk. Tickets booked thru Hawaiian. Hnl to nrt Hawaiian flight, nrt to cgk operated by Japan air. Hawaiian has no limit on boards per bag as long as less than 50 lbs. Jal says only 2 boards per bag. If bags are checked thru do we need to worry jal won’t accept them if 3 boards in bag? On way back we check in with jal. Anyone have experience if they actually check how many boards per bag as long as under weight limit??
