Thrashings are certainly due, but not for the reporter.


This would be like thrashing ex-intel officers who -- in an almost united voice -- kept saying, "No evidence of current WMD stockpiles...." or "Evidence of terrorist links? Well...errr....sorry, but the administration does not have any at the moment."

Pre 9/11 security was a joke -- but in large measure so is post 9/11 security. Why not expose them as such? I love BA -- but if BAA Security, TSA, and their ilk are going to insist on feeling up 10 year old girls (it happened to our daughter) to make everyone "feel" safe, all parties to this facade are due all the security related embarrassment anyone wants to dish out.
