I've never experienced the hotel view myself, but Hyatt Regency Jacksonville has a ridiculously amazing view for Jacksonville's Fourth of July and New Year's fireworks. Of course, you'd have to want to come to Jacksonville (mediocre tourist destination) and stay at the hotel (mediocre Hyatt Regency property). But yeah, if you can get a riverfront room then you have a front row seat. I'm sure they have a party viewing area as well.
