potentially looking at the following 2-4-1 if possible

LHR-FRA
JFK-LHR

Is it possible to book this? I know you can return from a different departure point on a 2-4-1, something in the back of my mind is flagging that the flights have to be a similar distance to qualify , or have i got this wrong and the above is ok?
