Hilton Midtown or Arlo Midtown - Which has the Better Location?
Going to NYC in Oct / Nov for the first time as a tourist.

I’m looking at staying either at the Hilton Midtown (W53rd / Ave of the Americas) or the Arlo Midtown (W38th / 9th Ave).

Which is the ‘better’ tourist location (if there is such a thing)

Im likely to want to do things in lower Manhattan, Midtown and the Upper E / W sides, so transport connections are important. Plus ideally there would be some good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
