It might not be Travel Bank but I'm sure there's something which is Etihad specific because I've checked many times for flights to Asia and Etihad are significantly higher than previously, 50%-100% higher So on each occasion I've booked with an alternative carrier which hasn't been much more that previous prices, e.g. Finnair, Thai, Lufthansa etc. Hoping that by the time my Travel bank expires next August, prices will have returned to sensible levels. You make good points but I'm not sure they are enough to explain £2,250 flights e.g. MAN-BKK now pushing £4,000.
