We did not find any other property (or location too, for that matter) in Indonesia suitable enough for us. We considered going to Flores and enjoying Pink Beach and Komodo Island, but opted instead for Amanpulo.

JOG->MNL->Pulo

Not sure if there are direct flights from Jogjakarta to Manila at this moment in time, but way back when there were several flights a week between the city pairs.
