With the location being a bit off-beaten-path, is there a way to get there from the airport without renting a car? Or is this an island where you're going to need a rental?
I'm trying to come up with ideas for a week+ trip in mid-September... was thinking I could fly to Athens, spend a day or two there, pop down to Santorini for another two nights, then the new Crete Hilton property on my way out. Not sure if this is achievable. (We're pretty adventure / whirlwind travelers, fine with a bit of logistics, but I don't want it to become a huge challenge either.)
Any new feedback on Diamond upgrades, food, things being reopened yet, insight on this property, etc?
