Nobody here can guarantee that the carrier will be accepted if it is larger than the maximum allowed size. You say that you have already been rejected using one; I would suggest your past experience is the best guide for what to expect. If the case is flexible and will fit, there is a chance it will be allowed and nobody will notice.
