Recent YHZ-CDG experience?

Hi everyone.
I was booked on the YHZ - LGW direct flight for Oct 27th, then I had another ticket from LGW - BCN on Vueling, giving me a 24 hour connection in london to explore.

However, westjet ceased the YHZ - LGW and so I was routed YHZ - YYZ - LGW, which gave me a 5 hour layover in YYZ plus obviously doubled my flight time, so making it a much longer travel day.

So, last night I decided to cancel my new YHZ-YYZ-LGW and instead book the direct YHZ-CDG flight and now spend the day in Paris and fly CDG-BCN the following day, giving me the day to explore Paris.

I think it's worth it to avoid the long connection in Toronto.

Now, the YHZ-CDG flight was only $279 after all taxes and fees, which is super cheap, and after I booked it and went to select my seats I noticed only 3 seats are showing as booked (i know seat maps should be taken with a grain of salt when looking at load factors) but given the low fare, I'm assuming loads are super low on this route? Anyone taken it recently and can confirm? I'm getting nervous that they'll end up canceling my flight to paris due to low loads and then I'll be right back to square 1 again.

I welcome your thoughts.
