I Just finished a 3 night stay there and was very disappointed.
I will say the front desk staff was apologetic and helpful and did their best to fix the issue.
Long and short, had the family room in the un-renovated tower. It was gross. Stains on carpets, holes in the wall, TV somewhat broken...plus when we pulled back the sheets, there was hair in the bed.
After a few visits to the front desk, we were moved into a new room, which was cleaner and a discount was offered for our trouble. Still, we didn't get back to the hotel after a whole day touring London until late. With 3 kids who took a red eye...it was a bit much.
Breakfast in the restaurant was fine but very much a zoo, as it would be for a family hotel. Next two mornings, went to the lounge which was much quieter.
Location seemed fine on Google Maps, close to a tube stop and other things but I felt very disconnected from the city. Overall, 3/5 for this hotel with an overall disappointed feeling.
