After seeing this, I just checked my flight in early October for AMS-DTW and it has switched from an A350 to an A330. Crap, upgraded to PS a few months ago, now looking for re-route!
There's still 2x daily A350 on AMS-DTW through much of October (only 1 of the 3 daily flights was swapped to an A330). You may be able to simply switch to a different flight rather than re-route (depending on connections).
