Just stayed here for one night - first time there so can't compare to when it was a DoubleTree but overall impressed with the property. Upgraded to river view room as Diamond which didn't have any noise issues, but it was a Sunday night.

Excellent service, very friendly staff across the hotel. Breakfast excellent and remains a mix of bufffet and cooked to order options such as omelettes and eggs benedict. Free drink coupon and welcome gift of a small box of chocolates also give.

Only used the bar and not the restaurant as we had other plans for dinner but the menu looked good and reasonably priced, I would certainly consider eating there next time.

Rates in Dublin have been ridiculously high over the Summer (used points the previous weekend at the new Hampton as rates were EUR300+) but got last night at the Morrison on a semi flex rate of EUR129 which was excellent value. Would certainly return if the rates weren't substantially higher than other properties.
