All things being equal, I would also probably go on the OZ A380. The Apex Suite that you'll likely get on KE is a superior hard product, but I tend to prefer the spaciousness of the A380. Plus you'll get access to the Star Alliance lounge at LAX, which is superior to the KE lounge (although an arguable tradeoff with the T1 vs. T2 on the return trip).

But none of these things add up to a huge difference, so I'd probably look to other factors, such as who you want to credit miles to (sounds like you're traveling on a paid ticket).
