The Senator flew to the South Pacific and Taiwan in a jet that has a range of just under 2,000 miles. A little odd. In contrast, Speaker Pelosi went in a 737 variant that has a range of greater than 5,000 miles, possibly close to 6,000 mi. The west coast to Hawaii is a distance of about 2,400 miles.
The Cessna has a cabin height of 4'10" resulting in the petite Senator having to stoop down to walk. Most people cannot stand upright in the tiny lavatory. The 737 has tall cabin height and room for overhead compartments.
