has anyone been successful in getting AS to open up space on AA metal after the AS flight is cancelled (rev fare)?
same origin and destination, similar flight dep/arr time too.
AS claim they cant do that and it was not available as a choice. however, there is an option to arrive to same destination using AA metal if i am willing to make a stop at another city (ie. AS first leg, AA second leg)
