Just finished a stay here, after having stayed once before in 2018. What was starting to be too dated and worn then is too much now. For the price point, I don't really see any reason to stay here. Carpets and walls are all stained and worn. I arrived at 1:30pm and was brusquely told my room wasn't ready. When I asked when it would be ready, was told "This hotels check-in time is 3pm." It seemed strange since everyone else was getting checked in no problem. I sat and reallocated some bags and when I went back up to the counter to leave them, a much friendlier agent insisted on checking if my room was ready, and magically it was. (Room had been preallocated on the app so it was the same room number, a King Deluxe.)
The heat/aircon system is awful, with a little button with five settings from Cold to warm.

King deluxe room. The exposed stained box springs are elegant.

Youth hostel chic hallway

I wanted late checkout but was afraid to ask, which is always nice.

The breakfast buffet is fine, except that the wait for the coffee machines and lack of filter coffee is frustrating. I wanted to order an omelet but never could find anyone to do so with.

One of three elevators seemed out of order most of my stay, and the waits and frequent stops were annoying.

The Holiday Inn across the street is better if you need the location.
